A quintessential island cottage, Dolphin Cottage at Kaanapali offers a one-of-a-kind, artistic, and all natural environment that takes one back to old time Maui plantation style living. The custom-designed, two bedroom, two bathroom cottage has ocean views and more than 1,850 square feet of living space. Its steeply pitched roofline allows for lofty exposed-beam ceilings, while its plank siding and wooden louvered windows complete the charming cottage setting. Subtle details include antique wrought iron and brass light fixtures, built-in leather furniture, eight ceiling fans, seven sky lights, full-sized washer & dryer, two-person spa tub, and even a forty-square-foot shower room!
In décor furnishings and amenities are featured against a cheerful, relaxed, island-style backdrop. Over the Lanai entrance a world-class surfboard by a renowned Maui shaper welcomes guests. The pop of colorful art by local artists brightens the walls, natural fiber jute rugs are scattered about on concrete floors, and furnishings combine comfort with craftsmanship. In the Kitchen, koa wood 'Dolphins at Play' by a famous local sculptor hangs from the exposed-beam vaulted ceiling.

We're in the tropics where friendly lizards and insects thrive, and this is an open-air plantation cottage. Somehow, lizards and insects seem to find their way inside even though the cottage is fully screened and pest-control measures for unsavory critters are in place. It's all part of the Hawai`i experience!
