A few miles north of Blue Ridge, Georgia, Fightingtown Creek arises and snakes its way through the woods to the Ocoee River just above McCaysville. Fightingtown Creek is one of the most enchanting things about North Georgia and is a true trout fisherman's paradise. This stream is stocked and is a catch-and-release only. Only barb less hooks are allowed to maximize the trout's chances for survival and growth. Don't think that a weekend fishing trip has to mean roughing it. Quite the opposite if you are lucky enough to be staying at Brown Trout Lodge. This gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bath custom built cabin is just about as luxurious as it gets. All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.
Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, satellite TV, charcoal grill.
In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).
Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.
The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
