The Space:
Blizzard’s LightHouse is located waterfront on the fingers in Port Isabel, just minutes from the beaches of South Padre Island
This newly & fully remodeled 4 + bedroom home w/4 baths that spans 3 levels, has a private pool, multiple “over the water decks” + plus a patio on every level in addition to a rooftop patio with views of SpaceX Launches or a spectacular sunset.
Ideally situated for a couple of families to split and for fishing enthusiasts alike, you will have the use of 2 boat slips, one shallow water and one deeper water. While no lift is provided, being able to put your boat or jet skis in at the nearby at the White Sands marina or the boat ramp 2 blocks away and leave it in is much more convenient. Please note we do not provide bumpers nor boat lifts so come somewhat prepared if you do have a boat. Inquire on truck/trailer parking as none is provided on property.
No boat? No Problem! Fish from the docks - especially at night the fishing can be good on live bait as we do have flood lights that automatically come on. Enjoy views up and down the channel, the crystal clean pool, or BBQ (bring charcoal) right off the water with the “Green Egg” BBQ pit provided.
There are a max of 4 vehicles allowed, with 3 off the street and 1 on, for a total of 16 people allowed. In the total persons count we do count infants and children, FYI.
The ground floor has a completely separate entrance off the pool with a queen bed, fold down couch & side bed, plus its own efficiency kitchen and full bathroom.
As you enter the grand foyer, you will be greeted by 2 staircases up, with the 2nd floor featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The open concept kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances features all the pots, pans, dishes, etc you need to eat every meal if you so choose right at the property for both convenience and to save money.
The master suite features a soaking tub and dual head shower with a private patio overlooking the water. If you walk to the rooftop level, you get a great view of all of Port Isabel, channels, and South Padre Island.
The exact bedding is two king beds, three queens, two singles, and two smaller size couches that full down into beds. We do also provide a queen size airbed. Please bring extra bedding if you plan on using the fold down couches or the airbed.
Outside you will enjoy the pool that flows right to a large deck with patio, the docks, the green egg bbq & areas for sunbathing.
All towels & linens are provided FYI. There is just the one bedroom that does not require stairs
While this home has WiFi if you have some work to get done, the internet is less than perfect sometimes so plan accordingly.
Please inquire about off season discounts Sept 15 to Dec 15 for stay over 4 nights. We do have active military as well as football coach discounts - just ask before you book please not after :)
Property is professionally managed by local South Padre Island Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd with an office open 7 days per week 9 am to 5 pm. We do offer free linen exchange for stays over 3 nights.
You must read & agree to ALL house rules prior to booking - failing to do so is not a reason for a cancellation nor refund request so please review :) The max occupancy is 16 people and again, babies & infants are considered in this head count.
A max of 4 full sized vehicles are allowed and that includes a golf cart if you park extra cars or on the side of the street you will get towed at your own expense. There can be street parking but it is not allowed to park in front of anyone’s mail box.
We provide an electronic code to enter the property prior to 3 pm day of check in to the number on file, not before. Check out is 11 am
You must have completed the E siganature rental agreement and attached a photo of your picture ID, read the house rules. If you are not 25 years of age you MUST contact us prior to booking to fulfill possible additional requirements of an additional refundable damage deposit. This is not a party house.
We will not provide door code for entry without the digital rental agreement being completed as well as the uploaded photo ID - these being done nor will we offer a refund for not agreeing to do this just to clarify.
We provide all bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, face towels, hand towels, basic soaps & shampoos and a starter pack of dishwasher pods, trash bags, coffee, filters, creamer, and sweetener. These supplies are a starter pack and not unlimited nor re supplied. We do not provide laundry detergent though a washer and dryer is provided at the property
Please bring extra bedding if you plan on using the couch, airbed, or sleeping on a couch in general. We do allow up to (2) dogs however a small additional cleaning fee will apply. The “Green Egg” BBQ Grill you will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid for, though there is a very close wal mart.

You will have full and private access to this expansive three level waterfront home. The property features a private swimming pool, multiple over the water decks, and a rooftop patio perfect for watching SpaceX launches or enjoying a sunset. Guests have exclusive use of two private boat slips, with one designed for shallow water and the other for deeper water. Inside, you have access to the entire living space, including the ground floor mother in law suite with its own efficiency kitchen, and the main open concept kitchen on the second floor. Please note that parking is limited to a maximum of four vehicles, with three spots off the street and one on the street. All outdoor amenities, including the dock, fishing areas, and the provided barbecue grill, are yours to enjoy throughout your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Port Isabel, our waterfront home places you in a prime spot for both relaxation and coastal adventure. You are just a short walk from local boat ramps and the White Sands marina, making it incredibly convenient for fishing and boating enthusiasts to get on the water. For your daily needs, a large supermarket is just a quick drive away, ensuring you can easily stock up on essentials for your stay. While you enjoy the peaceful channel views, the vibrant beaches of South Padre Island are only a fifteen minute drive across the bridge, offering endless sun, sand, and surf whenever you crave a beach day.
Getting Around:
Getting around Port Isabel is most convenient by personal vehicle as there is no extensive public transportation system available within the immediate vicinity. The property provides parking for a maximum of four vehicles, with three spaces located off the street and one space available on the street. Please ensure you do not block any mailboxes when parking. If you are traveling with additional vehicles, public parking options can be found at the intermodal bus station or the post office on South Padre Island, as well as along Gulf Boulevard. The vibrant beaches of South Padre Island are approximately a fifteen minute drive from the home.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that all guests must complete an electronic rental agreement and provide a copy of a valid photo identification prior to arrival to receive property access codes. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old. Check in begins at 3 pm and check out is at 11 am. We strictly enforce a maximum occupancy of 16 people, which includes all infants and children. Parking is limited to a maximum of 4 vehicles, including golf carts, and street parking must not block any mailboxes. Quiet hours are observed from 10 pm to 9 am. We provide a starter supply of household essentials, but please plan to bring your own charcoal for the grill and additional bedding if you intend to use the pull out couches or the provided airbed. Up to 2 dogs are permitted for an additional fee, but they must not be left unattended. Please ensure the thermostat is set to 78 degrees, dishes are placed in the dishwasher, and trash is removed upon departure to avoid additional cleaning fees.
