Moonlight Ridge is a lovely, secluded cottage nestled between Windham & Hunter Mountains and is the perfect setting for a couple or small group to unwind and enjoy peace and tranquility. Stargaze outside at the fire pit hang-out spot deemed 'The Lamb Chop Lounge" by the lovely homeowners. Prepare a cozy meal in the newly renovated kitchen and cuddle up in front of the wood-burning stove. Venture out with your loved ones for a hike and swim in the summer, ski, and snowmobile in the winter or simply appreciate the mountain fresh air.

One small, hypoallergenic & well-trained dog is allowed per reservation. We do not allow cats. If you would like to bring a dog, you *must* add it to the reservation under the "# of guests" section upon booking. Please abide by our pet guidelines :)
Note there is no AC at this property as we are running this place on an environmentally conscious philosophy. There are ceiling fans and oscillating fans for your use :)

The washer/dryer is reserved for small laundry loads only. Please do not put any large pieces such as coats, duvets, blankets, etc. into the machines.
Please do not place any hot kitchen tools (pans, cups, etc.) directly on the butcher block. Trivets & coasters are provided. Also. Please do NOT use it as a chopping board and refrain from using knives directly on it. The surface scratches easily.
You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.

We're located in Jewett, NY - two hours north of NYC and ten minutes from both Hunter and Windham ski mountains.
We are close to the shops and restaurants in Tannersville, Hunter and Windham. Kaaterskill Falls, North-South Lake and Colgate Lake are also within a few minutes’ drive!
The cottage is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen with a butcher block island, a Sonos player, a smart TV, a wood burning stove and high-quality linens. The sectional sofa in the living space can also be converted into a full-size bed. The back deck has a dining table and a propane grill.
A lot of love and effort has gone into creating our cottage, please enjoy it with tender loving care ❤️😊
