PRIVATE, QUIET AND LUXURIOUS
Private, separate 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment (upstairs over storage garage) provides all of the comforts of home. Located on 2 acres of homeowner's estate (owners live in separate house next door), this spacious 920 square foot apartment perches high above the Snohomish valley overlooking the Cascade Mountain range and the Snohomish River.
Not only a special treat for you, but also a special treat for the birds. A portion of the proceeds from your rental will go to feed and care for the nearly 20-something Hummingbirds that reside on the property. This requires year-round care for our feathered friends. They thank you from the bottom of their sweet little beaks! <3
WHEN TO COME:
Anytime is a great time to visit Snohomish!
*Spring: The tulips and daffodils are popping up, the trees are budding, the air is crisp and clean and the frogs are croaking their little heads off! Temperatures are generally in the 40's and 50's during the day, and sometimes into the 60's!
*Summer: It's usually not too hot in Snohomish in the summertime, but just right. Temperatures are typically in the 70's and 80's with those longggg northern days and beautiful star-filled nights. And the cottage is AIR CONDITIONED just in case we have those warm days :-)
*Fall: My favorite time of year here! The trees are showing off, the air is crisp, the migrating Trumpeter Swans are here having their babies, Bald Eagles circle overhead, and the valley is full of corn farms and pumpkin patches!
*Winter: This area doesn't typically get snow, but we can have some freezing temperatures and occasional snow. The Cascade mountains to the East seem to pop in the morning as the sun rises and the stars shine brightly on the clear cold nights. If you are not used to driving in ice and snow, we must caution you that if we have that sort of weather, our driveway is long and steep so you may want to rent a 4-wheel drive, or come in another season.

Watch hot air balloons drift overhead, Eagles soar, or from November through March watch the spectacular Trumpeter Swans on the Snohomish River and in the valley below. Peaceful, country setting near shopping, antiquing, sky diving, hot air ballooning, restaurants, farmer's markets, seasonal corn maze and pumpkin farms. Come for fresh, local produce, wine tasting in nearby Woodinville, biking on country roads or just enjoying the country air.
LONGER TRIPS TO EXPLORE
The US/Canadian border is about 2 hours north (bring your passport!), the San Juan Islands can be visited via ferry that is about 1-2/ hours north-west. A super-fine outlet shopping area is in Marysville about 45 minutes north. Seattle is approximately 35 miles south-west.

If you're looking for comfort, you must know that nearly everyone that has stayed with us has mentioned how comfortable the bed is! In fact, many of our visitors have purchased one for themselves! Come and try it out for yourself. The high thread count sheets make it even more luxurious. We also have a high-quality leather sofa for your living room relaxation.

This cottage does not have a laundry facility, but there is a very nice laundromat in Snohomish.
**Please note that we do not allow more than 2 people maximum staying at the property in order to keep the septic system and the neighbors happy. We also cannot accommodate pets of any kind.
