This Cozy cabin has 2 bedrooms, one with two full sized beds and one with a king sized bed. There is also one full bathroom with new tiled stand up shower, single vanity and toilet. Nice open floor plan with living room/dining/kitchen and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. The living room has a new queen sofa bed couch and new full sofa bed loveseat for additional sleeping if needed. Eat in dining area with table and 2 benches . Fully equipped kitchen with appliances that include refrigerator, stove, micro-hood, dishwasher, toaster, crockpot, blender, Keurig coffee pot along with pots\pans and utensils.
Outside you will find this cabin sits on a large water front lot with boat dock. As you walk outside you will find a full length upper deck with gas grill(propane not included), patio table and chairs and led lights. The lake front has recently has been cleared for a multi-level viewings of the lake. Follow the steps down to the first level and find large fire pit and seating. Then follow down closer to the next level to enjoy the view sitting at the bar area that overlooks the point!
Also included is access to a gated boat ramp and small beach/picnic area in Eagle Point Bay. There also is 4 local marinas on the lake with some that offer food, beer/liquor/wine, live entertainment, boat/jet ski rentals and a variety of activities to keep the entire family entertained. Other local attractions are Shawnee National Forest, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Shawnee Hills Wine trail (11 vineyards), Walkers Bluff vineyard and event center, Southern Illinois University, John A Logan College. In addition to the Lake of Egypt this property is also near Crab Orchard, Little Grassy and Devils Kitchen Lakes. Local state parks are Ferne Clyffe, Giant City and Garden of the Gods. Casinos in Metropolis and Cape Girardeau are approximately 1 hour away as is Paducah, KY.
