This two-story home backs up to Janes Creek Meadow Park, a lovely neighborhood green space on the north side of town with a creek, a pond, and a beautiful trail system. It's a prime location for exploring Arcata, with Cal Poly Humboldt only three-quarters of a mile south and Arcata Plaza (home to great restaurants, shops, and an excellent farmers market) just over a mile south.
The house has a wonderful sense of ease and lightness about it, with nearly 2,000 square feet of living space spread out across two floors. Enter by way of the front porch to be greeted by an inviting living room with a gas fireplace, a soft sofa, and a smart TV for family movie nights.
Spend summer afternoons on the deck out back, where you can barbecue on the gas grill and relax on the cushioned outdoor sofa at golden hour.
